The northern Italian city’s visual language of simple elegance shows clearly in this piece. The lamp stands tall with a slender figure made from highly engineered plastic. A striated pattern runs from top to bottom, giving the piece a neat texture. It draws the eye with contrast. A soft opaque cylinder complements the shine of metallic rings. This shine continues in the anchoring, ultra-sleek form of the steel base. The tall form is home to three evenly spaced bulbs. These bulbs light up to produce a bright aura with a graceful silhouette.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies.
