A sleek modern piece with a commanding presence, the Kin Pendant from Oluce demonstrates an explicit, yet refined beauty. Created by award-winning designer Francesco Rota in 2013, this piece hangs from a thin wire. The slim and enticing body made of smooth metal gradually widens as the piece drops down, flaring out suddenly to hold a methacrylate disc. The integrated LED within the piece diffuses through this disc, sending out a crisp and bright glow that instantly shapes the ambiance of the surrounding space.
Founded in 1945 by Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is one of the oldest Italian design companies that produces an extensive line of contemporary lighting for the home and office. With over 70 years of experience, Oluce has helped pave the way for other lighting brands, especially with regards to research and production methods. This has resulted in a level of international recognition that has attracted world-renowned designers to contribute to their collection of lamps, including Joe and Gianni Colombo, Vico Magistretti and others.
