Dressed up with a uniform finish, a round backplate and an understated arm support a cylindrical aluminum shade. The striations of the shade work with the paired glass diffuser to give the outpouring light a gradual, soft feel. The compact shade rotates 330-degrees and tilts vertically up to 90-degrees to focus a layer of energy-efficient light just where it is needed. The piece sports an easy-to-access toggle switch on the face of the wall plate. Hidden below, a USB port gives juice to one’s essential devices, rounding out the design’s convenient features.
