Key Features
A beautiful floral design flattened into a shapely composition that drips with texture. The Ivy Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. is sculptural through and through, inviting a closer inspection with its ornate appearance. Leaf silhouettes layer on top of each other in a crescendo of shapes, their hand-touched texture created by a layer of plaster and gesso draped over a metal framework. The flat sides of the rectangular, linen shade further emphasize the graphic look of its sculptural column. An evocative glow filters out, providing a serene presence over a side or end table.
A day trip to Mexico in the 90’s inspired husband and wife David and Jamie to utilize unconventional materials in design. They began incorporating flower pots as lamp bases, and from there the Jamie Young Company was born; focusing on unique materials and taking note on current design trends. By taking influence from their travels and their love of art and history, Jamie Young and David Jeter have sought to build a company that can bring a global aesthetic into a variety of homes.
