Key Features
Inspired by the petals of its namesake, the MacMaster Iris Wall Light is designed to replicate the beauty of nature with flowing strips of Birch plywood. Each piece of ply is smoothed, bent and assembled by hand, resulting in a dynamic arrangement where each piece of wood seems to gracefully move together. The fixture is the main focus of the design, obscuring the light source which casts a subtle ambient light behind the wooden structure.
Founded in 2009 by Alex MacMaster, MacMaster is a close-knit group of craftsmen specializing in bespoke wood lighting and furniture design in the English countryside. All aspects of design, development and production are handled in their small studio in Worcestershire, ensuring the quality and uniqueness of each product. Using only FSC and PEFC certified timbers, MacMaster carries out a variety of sustainable manufacturing methods for all product ranges.
