The John Beck Steel Hex Mini Pendant is a spellbinding design with a faceted steel shade and large globe bulb that sits comfortably below the structure. After the steel is stained and buffed by hand, a dark gradient is left behind, only to be warmed by the bright filaments of the bulb below. The bulb can be adjusted to sit further inside the shade or it can be lowered for a more dramatic effect (the globe bulb is included).
John Beck Steel has an unapologetic attitude when it comes to the virtues of hot rolled steel. Based in the heartland of the USA, this small studio gets down to the nitty gritty of machine-based production, working exclusively with welded steel and solid wood for their range of industrial lighting designs. Each fixture is designed and handmade in Edwardsville, Illinois.
