Made in Italy and presented by Slide, the Globo Wood Piantana Floor Lamp is a luxury light furnishing designed by Slide Studio. It has a contemporary look with mid-mod influences, featuring a clean, rotationally molded shade in polyethylene that allows LED-capable illumination to flow through. While exuding a pleasant glow, LED is also energy efficient and long-lasting, which allows more time to be spent admiring the things, people, and places it may brighten.
Founded in 2002 by Giò Colonna Romano, Slide Italian Design produces complete interior design collections by partnering with top designers such as Marc Sadler and Marcel Wanders. Currently managed by Giò’s son, Marco, Slide manufactures each product in Buccinasco, near Milan.
