The Frame of Love from Slide heightens the sense of attraction between the eyes and a space as a nod to the baroque style. The piece presents vintage motifs with a modern construction. Polyethylene gives the design its durability for indoor or outdoor use. This material is molded into an angular frame with a bevy of raised accents. These accents create deep shadows as they flow into each other like rolling waves. Floral accents add a distinct charm. The rectangular openings allow the piece to show off the wall or mounted décor.
Founded in 2002 by Giò Colonna Romano, Slide Italian Design produces complete interior design collections by partnering with top designers such as Marc Sadler and Marcel Wanders. Currently managed by Giò’s son, Marco, Slide manufactures each product in Buccinasco, near Milan.
