Deeply rooted in nature, the Slamp Flora Pendant surrounds a globular light source with 60 droplet petals, resembling a blossoming flower or tropical fruit with a vibrant lighting effect. Each petal is composed of Lentiflex® (an exclusive polycarbonate material) giving the design a soft iridescence once lit. The material also lends the Flora a lightweight and durability, making maintenance of the fixture a simple task.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
