An award-winning lamp from the creative powerhouse team of Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, the Equatore LED Table Lamp from FontanaArte puts a contemporary spin on the classic table lamp design. A fixture that easily showcases an incredible devotion to its manufacturing technique, it starts with a round disc base of galvanized metal that sends up a single stem to secure a dome glass shade secured to a metal band around its lower interior. This band holds two LED discs that shine up into the empty glass, making the lamp an intriguing piece of sculpture that dispenses a warm ambiance through its surroundings.
Renowned Italian architect, designer and painter Gio Ponti founded FontanaArte in 1932 as the artistic division of glassmaker Luigi Fontana. Ponti used Fontana glass to design lighting filled with his own visionary brand of sensuous, poetic modernism. Today, more than 75 years later, the innovative artists at FontanaArte continue Pontis legacy, creating expressive and transformative modern lighting designs.
