A unique and elegant approach to modern lighting, the Ellisse LED Floor Lamp from Nemo is a minimalist delight that works well in a range of home styles. Designed by Federico Palazzari in 2019, this piece consists of a thick, rectangular block base within which is a slim slit at the center. A wide, grand ring made of extruded aluminum rises from the base (or mounts directly to the wall, no base needed) and presents a visually striking ring of energy-efficient LED light that enhances the room.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemos modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
