Inspired by the calming sights of the beach. The Easton Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. soothes you with its golden light and textured ceramic surface. Using simple geometry, the table lamp resonates with the modern and contemporary home. The tall ceramic base is handcrafted by master artisans. Artisans apply a reactive glaze on the surface to the base then fire it in the kiln to achieve a sea foam-like texture. Made from linen, the lampshade provides a classic silhouette and softness to the piece. When turned on, the ambient light produces a warm comfort like a stroll across the beach.
A day trip to Mexico in the 90’s inspired husband and wife David and Jamie to utilize unconventional materials in design. They began incorporating flower pots as lamp bases, and from there the Jamie Young Company was born; focusing on unique materials and taking note on current design trends. By taking influence from their travels and their love of art and history, Jamie Young and David Jeter have sought to build a company that can bring a global aesthetic into a variety of homes.
