- Robert Moya is a Los Angeles-based abstract painter who earned his Master’s In Fine Art from The San Francisco Art Institute. He has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. He is known for his unique painting process that consists of building up thick layers of acrylic paint, that once dry, are cut into small shapes. Moya then collages these pieces of cut acrylic paint into geometric, repetitive, textural, and colorful compositions.
