By taking a refined approach, Aisslinger hones in on the piece’s atmospheric properties. This approach shows in the pendant’s suspension, one underscored by the simple yet dynamic contour of the metal rod. The shade attaches horizontally to the metal in a gorgeous demonstration of contrasting hues. This vitrified porcelain shade wraps the light source in a smooth, glare-mellowing texture. Bright light filters through the porcelain cone for ambiance while funneling through the opening as a diffused task glow.
