Resembling nothing so much as a bunch of balloons or the puffy cumulus cloud seen on pleasant, sunny days, the Cloudy LED Pendant from AXO Lighting offers a warm addition to contemporary and minimalist spaces. This super-sized suspension lamp is made from a cluster of five OPAL PMMA globes suspended by wires. The rounded shapes partially subdue the strong glare of LED light from the lamping, while a partially-see-through elastic fabric surrounds all sides of the globes, evening out the light shining down from above.
Started in 1996, Axolight is an Italian lighting company that designs and produces high-end contemporary lighting products. Each piece is handmade in Scorzè, Venice, Italy whether standard or a custom, bespoke piece. In 2018, Axolight launched its first sustainable product made of recycled nylon, glass fiber and aluminum.
