For a more free-spirited look for the home, consider bohemian style. Bohemian, also called boho, is a style designed to stand out against convention. When designing a space in bohemian style, the boho chandelier is one of the most important fixtures. The chandelier, regardless of style, is designed to stand out and to command a presence, typically guiding the style of the room. A boho chandelier is different from other styled chandeliers. Several boho fixtures, including boho pendant lights, may contain hanging beads draped on or below the body of the fixture. The beads sometimes form a new layer that shrouds the interior body.

If a boho beaded chandelier is not to taste, bohemian style also uses a handcrafted, put-together look. Natural rattan weave (a rope material made from palms) and wood are common materials. Other Considerations

The measurements of a boho chandelier should fit into the room as appropriate. Any style, too big or too small can change the room's appeal, although bohemian style, designed to be unconventional, may be the exemption to this rule. If an outdoor lounge space is the desired boho room, check for the location rating to see if the chandelier can be directly exposed to water (wet rating) or just near water (damp rating). For outside fixtures, Dark Sky compliance may be required based on where the location is. Once the bohemian style is established, feel free to add more fixtures and accessories, such as further rattan weave pieces, layers of beads or wood accessories. Boho style is completely unique and up to the individual to form their own look that speaks to them.
