Angular, appealing, and elegant, the Chance Semi-Flushmount from Alder & Ore adds an inspired, open character to its surroundings. Retained by a square canopy with small, rounded accents, it extends a short central stem to a circular hub below, transmitting shorter horizontal arms to square frames of matte steel surrounding smooth square housings for the fixture’s retro-style lamping. Each lamp is gentled to the sides by a rectangular prism shade of clear glass, which permits direct downlight through its open base while splashing out an elegant ambiance around each focused spot of direct light.
Alder & Ore features an eclectic blend of industrial and mid-century design, complete with rough-hewn metals, exposed or partially exposed lamping, and eccentric silhouettes.
