Kichler’s Byatt Pendant mixes the refined and the rustic for a truly extraordinary interplay of light and shadow. A round, stepped canopy drops a long chain to a central hub, which sends down a stem and wire arrangement to hold up the top ring of an airy lighting element. Candelabra-style lighting lofts upward from a central dish surrounded on the sides and base by a wireframe diffuser in the shape of an inverted birdcage. This grid lends a more robust farmhouse feel to the delicate metal framing beneath, softening and providing protection for the otherwise-open bulbs.
