From the simple suspension to the clean silhouette of the shade, this pendant reflects designer Mauro Olivieri’s process of refinement. By refining his designs, Olivieri lets the personality of his forms come through. The teardrop offers a silhouette that resonates emotionally through its sense of familiarity. Venetian glass masters’ mouth-blow the teardrop shape into existence with a beautiful shift in clear and white tones. The point of the teardrop suggests the downward direction of the pendant’s clean and mellow light.

Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
