Inspired by sculptor Constantin Brancusi's efforts to depict an item's inner meaning rather than its literal form, Francesco Paretti designed the Slamp Bach Table Lamp to reveal its inner light in a sculptural manner and play on the contrast between light and dark. The slender tube is made out of translucent Opalflex.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
