Featuring an elaborate paper-forming process invented by textile artist Dagmar Mombach and transformed into a lighting fixture by designer Ingo Maurer, the Ingo Maurer Ysmen Floor Lamp comes to life in a vibrant performance of material and illumination. The patented process requires up to 8 different treatments based on a traditional Japanese method of textile dyeing. Part of the MaMo Nouchies Collection.
For more than 40 years Ingo Maurer has created somewhat irreverent and thought-provoking designs in a method that is more exo-modern than contemporary. These experimentalist collections enliven fashion runways, monuments and private homes, giving Ingo Maurer lighting a name that resounds in the minds of the design-forward.
The Ysmen Floor Lamp is available with the following:
- Natural paper shade
- Stainless Steel base
- Electronic transformer
- Continuously variable dimmer
- Not suitable for damp locations
- Not UL/ETL Listed
- Made in Germany
- Designed by Dagmar Mombach and Ingo Maurer, 1998
