There's a lot to love in this little heart. The Ingo Maurer Savoie Pendant is named after designer Donato Savoie who, along with Maurer, first conceived its airy, inverted heart shape back in 1979. Said shape is made by loops formed in the silicone suspension cables, and is illuminated from below by the round, semi-frosted bulb dangling from the White porcelain socket in the heart's cleft.
For more than 40 years Ingo Maurer has created somewhat irreverent and thought-provoking designs in a method that is more exo-modern than contemporary. These experimentalist collections enliven fashion runways, monuments and private homes, giving Ingo Maurer lighting a name that resounds in the minds of the design-forward.
The Savoie Pendant is available with the following:
- White porcelain socket
- Round ceiling canopy with US adapter plate
- Silicone cables
- Adjustable height
- Not UL/ETL Listed
- Made in Germany
- Designed by Donato Savoie and Ingo Maurer, 1979
