With a tributary nod to Radio City Music Hall interior designer Donald Deskey, the Global Views Radio City Wall Sconce loosely appropriates the geometric shapes and austere materials that informed his work. A spot-on mix of intersecting circles and planes, glass and shiny metallics, are all hallmarks of the Art Deco style that was heavily favored by both Deskey and Music Hall architect Edward Durell Stone. Available in a hardwired or wall cord option, the latter of which includes a matching 36' cord cover.
From ornamental period pieces to deco decorativeness to ethno-informed artisanal discoveries, Global Views offers a consistently updated mix of styles that are alternately elegant, exotic, refined and casual. Along with partners Studio A and DwellStudio, the collective offers stylish objects imbued with a global perspective that can accommodate a spectrum of design sensibilities. Call it Global Chic.
