Poul Christiansen designed three versions of this model in 1974, and the Le Klint 175B Pendant is the largest of the 175 variants. Adhering to Le Klint's origami-like pleated shade standard, the 175B is constructed from color-stabilized White PVC plastic and has been pressed and hand-folded to achieve its iconic three-dimensional form. A contemporary classic.
Tage Klint pioneered the family handicraft business in Denmark in 1943, inspired by P.F. Jensen-Klint's invention of the pleated lampshade. Today, Le Klint lighting is distinguished by cool mid-century modern lighting designs that offer movement and sculpture to contemporary spaces.
