Specifically conceived by architect Norman Foster's firm for the Posthaus restaurant in St. Moritz, the Nemo Ilium Floor Lamp exceeds the required elegance quotient. A chic cylindrical tower of double diffused illumination, Ilium features an Opal White polymer diffuser that is set inside a ribbed transparent outer diffuser of Pyrex glass. An on/off foot switch can be found on the power cord.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and '70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemo's modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
The Ilium Floor Lamp is available with the following:

- Polished steel and chrome base
- On/off foot switch on power cord
- Not Ul/ETL Listed
- Designed by Foster and Partners
