"If a sabre's too much, you're too young." -Karim Rashid. Sabrage--the technique of breaking off the neck of a champagne bottle with a sabre--was first popularized in the early 1800s by Napoleon's army. The Menu Champagne Sabre brings that tradition into the 21st century. Curved and perfectly balanced, this polished stainless steel sabre performs the same function as a sword, but without sharp edges.
Menu, headquartered in Denmark, partners with designers to develop and produce a broad assortment of Scandinavian living accessories for the dining room, living room, kitchen, and garden.
