The Nanda Home Tocky Alarm Clock rocks and rolls (literally) to get you out of bed in the morning. Playing a recorded message or uploaded MP3s, the Tocky jumps off the nightstand and rolls around the floor until you get out of bed to turn it off. Easily controllable via the touch sensitive interface.
Nanda was started by Gauri Nanda when she was a graduate student at the MIT Media Lab. The Clocky alarm clock evolved out of Gauri's own need for an alarm clock that wouldn't let her snooze repeatedly. She created a prototype for a class project and a flurry of unexpected attention ensued.
The Tocky Alarm Clock is available with the following:
- ABS silicone skin
- Touch-sensitive interface
- Record and play personal wake-up messages
- MP3 playback capability
- Built-in microphone
- Snooze feature
- Jumps from nightstand and rolls away
