The Junghans Wall Clock with Lines by Max Bill adds a note of elegant industrialism while providing the time with easy-to-see long lines. The Wall Clock with Lines was designed by Max Bill.
Founded in 1861 by Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law, Jakob Zeller-Tobler, Junghans grew into one of Europe's biggest watch and clock manufacturers. The company has enjoyed a variety of fruitful design collaborations, including that with Bauhaus designer Max Bill in the 1950s and '60s. Known for their aesthetic perfection and high mechanical precision, the Max Bill watches made by Junghans are still loved and collected today.
The Max Bill Wall Clock with Lines is available with the following:
- Metal with Glass.
- Mechanical movements.
- Requires one AA Battery, Not Included.
- Any mechanical clock is expected to make some sort of ticking sound as the hands move. However, there is only potential for this ticking to be really audible and continual if there is a second hand. Otherwise, the clock will be basically silent or with muffled clicks limited to the movement of the minute hand.
