In the scheme of Italian lighting design, ModoLuce is a relatively young company. It was founded about a decade ago in Treviso, Italy (near Venice). It has every bit the youthful energy of a ten year-old.
The ModoLuce line of modern lighting features crisp, tailored fabrics, painted metal and smooth glass to create delicious lighting effects.
In Europe, ModoLuce is best known for its line of illuminated furniture.
The Coco Pendant is the best representation of ModoLuce's process of pairing familiar materials (pleated fabric) with unusual forms. The Bolla Pendant is a crystal-clear example of the company's sleek glasswork.
