The Artemide Megaron Floor Lamp adds a dramatic, architectural element to interior decor. This modern design classic is a two-part column of extruded aluminum, with slits on either side casting a vibrant wash of ambient light. Designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1979, the Megaron Floor Lamp won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1981.
Since 1959, Artemide has created a wide array of modern table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Technologically advanced, and with styles ranging from clean and refined to sculptural and avant garde, many Artemide designs--especially the Tolomeo and Tizio--have become icons of contemporary lighting design.
The Megaron Floor Lamp is available with the following:
- Made of anodized aluminum
- Internal aluminum reflector
- Steel base covered in black thermoplastic resin
- Slide dimmer on column
- Made in Italy
- Designed by Gianfranco Frattini, 1979
