"The waterfall dries up, and the moonlight, night by night, soaks into the rocks" reads one of the haiku featured in the Ingo Maurer Licht Licht Wall Sconce. An exploration in traditional Japanese poetry crossed with modern technology, this unique sconce offers two pages of durable Lexan films with Japanese haiku and English translations, or opt for the blank films instead. The words "Licht Licht" appear when turned off. Particularly suited for corner lighting. Designed by Reyer Kras.
For more than 40 years Ingo Maurer has created somewhat irreverent and thought-provoking designs in a method that is more exo-modern than contemporary. These experimentalist collections enliven fashion runways, monuments and private homes, giving Ingo Maurer lighting a name that resounds in the minds of the design-forward.
