As Seen in Elle Décor March 2013
Where old meets new.
Designed by German design team Jehs and Laub, the Crown Major Chandelier is a modern interpretation of an old-timey candle chandelier. The design focuses on sleek, straight lines through die-cast aluminum arms and opal white glass shades. This version features 30 lights, arranged into a statement-making fixture that is nearly four feet around and three feet high. A smaller version features just 12 lights, and each hangs from a subtly playful red suspension cable.
Grounded in innovative techniques and original ways of combining materials, Illuminating Experiences shows a strong interest in the international modernist movement. Their modern lighting fixtures showcase a bit of funk and youth as well, making them more than a stereotype of contemporary design. The materials serve the purpose of the design, establishing the fixtures as works of art. From high contemporary to retro lights, Illuminating Experiences fixtures make a space uniquely chic.
