One of the sculptural paper MaMo Nouchies. The Ingo Maurer Con-Qui Floor Lamp is just one result of the collaboration between Maurer and textile designer Dagmar Mombach (MaMo), combining the visual beauty of paper with technical lighting sophistication. The paper Mombach developed can be folded and formed in a variety of ways. The Con-Qui features this specialty paper folded like a luminous clamshell above a concrete base.
For more than 40 years Ingo Maurer has created somewhat irreverent and thought-provoking designs in a method that is more exo-modern than contemporary. These experimentalist collections enliven fashion runways, monuments and private homes, giving Ingo Maurer lighting a name that resounds in the minds of the design-forward.
The Con-Qui Floor Lamp is available with the following:
- Natural paper shade
- Cylindrical concrete base
- Metal mounting rod
- Electronic transformer
- Continuously variable dimmer
- Not suitable for damp locations
- Not UL/ETL Listed
- Made in Germany
- Designed by Dagmar Mombach and Ingo Maurer, 1998
