Modern Fan Control Options:
Except for the Industry Fan, Modern Fan models do not use pull chains. Therefore, in order to operate your Modern Fan at different speeds and switch the light independently of the fan, you will need to select the appropriate control. Unless otherwise stated, all Modern Fan controls are designed and intended for operation of a single fan or fan and light. Any control ordered with a fan that has been configured with an energy-saving CFL will be supplied with a non-dimming version of that control.
  • Handheld Remote Control - 003
    Designed for independent operation of a fan and light using only one circuit (two wires). Comes with a wall hanging bracket. Provides three speeds and full range dimming when selected with an incandescent light option. When selected with a fluorescent light option, this control comes in a non-dimming model.
  • Fan Speed and Light Wall Control - 004
    Designed for independent operation of a fan and light using only one circuit (two wires). Wires into wall box. Provides three speeds and full range dimming when selected with incandescent light fan option. When selected with a fluorescent light option, this control comes in a non-dimming model.
  • Three Wire Fan and Light Control - 002
    Intended for operation of a fan with light. Requires two circuits (three wires). Provides four speeds and full range dimming when selected with incandescent light fan option. When selected with a fluorescent light option, this control comes in a non-dimming model.
  • Wall Control with Remote Handset - 005
    A combination control package including the Fan Speed and Light Wall Control - 004 and the Handheld Remote Control - 003. Both wall control and compatible remote handset provide three speeds and full range dimming when selected with an incandescent light option; When selected with a fluorescent light option, these two controls come in a non-dimming model.
  • No Control
    Choose this option only if you want your Modern Fan shipped without any of the other control options listed. Since fans from Modern Fan don't utilize pull chains, this option is for those who already have control options in place.

  • 26W Compact Fluorescent option utilizes one 26 Watt 120 Volt Type GU24 Compact Fluorescent lamp (included).
  • 75W Halogen option utilizes one 75 Watt 120 Volt Type G9 Halogen lamp (included).
