The Open Table Lamp by Artemide provides diffused lighting. It is available with the following lamping options:

Incandescent: One 100 Watt 120 Volt E26 A19 lamp (not included)
Fluorescent: One 26 Watt 120 Volt G24XQ3 lamp with electronic ballast (not included)

Incandescent version is dimmable with an in-line dimmer on the cord (included).
