It uses LED illumination, a light source that consumes very low power and offers a much longer service life. The easy-to-install Spore doorbell button works with most existing and new doorbell systems, and it surface mounts without any visible screws.

Since 1996, Spore has been creating doorbell buttons and chimes for the modern environment, both residential and commercial. Spore strives to produce contemporary designs that integrate into many settings, from Victorian and Craftsman homes to corporate offices and urban hotels.
