Designed by Ross Lovegrove, the Artemide Cosmic Rotation Suspension uses reflected light to create its soft, otherworldly glow. At the end of a White painted stem, a central aluminum disc directs the bright light of energy efficient fluorescent bulbs upward to bounce off of the Opal methacrylate shade and highlight its unique bumpy surface.

Since 1959, Artemide has created a wide array of modern table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Technologically advanced, and with styles ranging from clean and refined to sculptural and avant garde, many Artemide designs--especially the Tolomeo and Tizio--have become icons of contemporary lighting design.
