Established in 1990 by Monica Missio and Richard Cleves, CX Design's complete collection is individually hand-crafted by master Italian glass blowers on Murano, an island just north of Venice - the centuries old, undisputed center of the world's most treasured glass. Headquartered in New York, CX NY specializes in designing and working with artisans who blow scavo glass, a traditional, Italian glassmaking technique that creates glass with an excavated (scavo) appearance.
